Blues Rock

In the 1960s, blues rock was popularized by bands like The Rolling Stones, The Animals and The Yardbirds, who combined the blues with elements of rock 'n' roll.

One of the most style-defining albums of blues rock is "Beggars Banquet" by The Rolling Stones, released in 1968. This album was characterized by its heavy, distorted guitar riffs and bluesy vocals and became a classic of the genre.

In the 1970s, bands like Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple became popular, combining blues rock with elements of hard rock and heavy metal. In the 1980s, blues rock became popular again through bands like ZZ Top and The Black Crowes.
